Weber College vs McKinley High School, 1929
In 1922, the last year Weber College offered high school courses, there was both a high school and a junior college football team. Weber College joined the Intermountain Junior College Conference in 1922. Coaches during this decade include: Merlon Stevenson (1921-1927 & 1929-1932) and Delton Bramwell (1928, he filled in while Stevenson was on sabbatical). In 1928, Weber College and William McKinley High School started a rivalry. The football team and boosters traveled to Hawai’i to play against McKinley.
