Supporting the Olympic and Paralympic Games required a tremendous community effort, and Ogden rose to the occasion with remarkable dedication. Approximately 4,219 volunteers contributed their time and energy across the Ogden Ice Sheet and Snowbasin venues, ensuring the events ran smoothly. Beyond the competition sites, Ogden also played a vital role in hosting the curling hospitality house, located at Weber State University’s Alumni Center, which served as a welcoming space for athletes, officials, and guests. Additionally, Weber State University provided housing for athletes in its newly built dormitories and adjusted its academic schedule by excusing classes from February 2 to February 22 to accommodate the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
